Our exceptional, friendly staff is our greatest asset. They are excited about what they do and they care personally about getting the best results for our patients.

Our ophthalmic technicians will try to accommodate your busy schedule by finding appointments that suit your needs.

Jennifer

Jennifer Cox

Jennifer Cox has been an ophthalmic technician at the Spring Hill office since January 2015. When we opened the Columbia location in April 2015, she became the office manager and has enjoyed serving patients and learning more about optometry through the years. She is now works in our Spring Hill location on Thursdays only.  She is currently pregnant with her second child and due in June 2020.

Jennifer has been married to her husband, Jeremy, since 2011 and has a sweet, boxer-mix named Molly. She graduated from Page High School in Franklin and Lipscomb University in Nashville. She is blessed by her church family at Millview church of Christ and is involved with many activities including Sunday School teaching 4th and 5th grade, World Bible School teaching, Heavenly Handcrafts, Ladies Bible Study and community service projects. Jennifer’s favorite things to do in her spare time include crafting (cross stitch, card making, quilting and tatting), reading historical fiction and laying in her hammock.

Angie Leslie

Angie Leslie is our newest ophthalmic technician and works part time in the Columbia Mallard Eye Care when she is not working in the Walmart Vision Center. She started working at Walmart as a department manager in 2015 and in August 2017 became a Vision Center apprentice optician. She is a great asset to our team and is quick to make our patients feel comfortable and valued. She loves to serve the Columbia community.

Angie was born and raised in Tennessee and has two beautiful daughters who bring so much joy to her life. She enjoys spending time with family and friends every chance she gets.

Sharon Tosh

Sharon Tosh has been the main ophthalmic technician at our Columbia office since 2015 and is experienced in all aspects of patient care. She always greets our patients with an enthusiastic smile and has a unique ability to help patients feel comfortable during their office visit.

She graduated from Mount Pleasant High School and attends First Assembly Church in Columbia. She is married, lives in Columbia and has two sons.

Lori Deseire

Lori helped launch Mallard Eye Care in Spring Hill in 2013 as their office manager/billing specialist. She then moved to New Jersey for a couple of years and recently moved back to TN in 2018. She came back to Mallard Eye Care in July 2018.  She is currently the Office Manager/Billing/Credentialing Specialist for all 3 locations.  She loves what she does with helping the patients.

Lori has been married to her husband, Tony, since April 1998. They have 2 wonderful children, son Chris and daughter Amberly. They also have a beagle, Peaches. In her spare time she likes to spend time with her family, watching her daughter’s soccer and basketball games and her son’s track meets. She also likes to help those in need with volunteering at food pantries and at church projects.

Please note that our office will only have urgent eye care hours until the week of April 6th.   Per the CDC we are taking their recommendation of postponing ALL routine eye exams until the week of April 20th.  Please note this could change.  

We will be reaching out to any patients that have appointments in these coming days to reschedule.  

IMPORTANT: If you are infected with COVID-19 or think you may have been infected, please contact us before coming in. This way we can instruct you on where to go and how to proceed for the safety of all.  

If you are coming in for an urgent visit, please come alone.  Do not bring anyone with you at this time.  Call us from your car once you arrive and we will tell you if it is OK to come in or if we will need to call when we are ready.  Make sure we have your correct cell phone number when calling.
